Halos for Hope

Interlacements Yarns is knitting up some hats to join in the fight against cancer with Halos of Hope. Want to help out? Halos for Hope is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing chemotherapy patients with volunteer-created hats.

We will provide our soft Sweet Feet yarn for you all to knit or crochet hats with. I know they have quite a few children’s hats right now so men’s and women’s size hats are best. Are you a machine knitter? We will take those too! Our Sweet Feet yarn has 400 yards to work with, so let’s see how many we can get done and really make someone’s day a bit brighter and of course warmer!

All you have to do is email Tracey and we will get the yarn sent out to you right away for you to start knitting or crocheting. She will collect all hats and take them to Pam at Stitches Midwest on Aug. 9-12. So make sure you ship them back in time!

Most of you all know, Tracey and Jim bought this business almost two years ago, when their friend was diagnosed with terminal cancer. She passed last November so we want to do all we can to help those going through the process.

You can join the conversation in our Ravelry group to learn more and see what has been knit up so far!
