Knit — and crochet! — beaded scarves

... And head to The Knit & Crochet Show in Minneapolis, too, if you're in the area!

Tracey and company will be there selling yarn, fiber, kits and more this weekend (July 29 to 31). Yarn rep Zoe will be at StevenBe's Yarn Garage on Thursday for a trunk show and a beaded knit scarf class.

Need a little inspiration? Here are our latest sample photos ...

If you can't make the show, buy the kit online. If you change nothing in the drop-down menu, you will get the first kit pictured in African Violets Tiny Toes with the knit pattern. Or choose your own color-yarn-knit/crochet combination!

Knit Katy Scarf: Another beaded pattern, also available as a kit online.

We also have a loom-knit version of the beaded scarf pattern!
It comes with a handy loom-knitting basics page to help you get started.

Happy knitting and hope to see you in Minneapolis!

Interlacements at Spin of Door County

Located in the scenic “Gateway to Door County,” there sits a beautiful building originally built for the safekeeping of treasures belonging to the citizens of Sturgeon Bay. Today it serves a similar purpose, but the treasures contained within are more specific to the fiber artists who know about this little corner of Wisconsin.

Along with the beautiful yarns, you are welcomed to sit and knit in one of the old offices upstairs. These have been transformed to generate a relaxing atmosphere that is conducive to your creative desires.

For those who are more inclined to knit among the bustling activity of the shop, there is a knitting area on the main floor as well.

Don’t forget to peek into the vault and find more special treasures within.

Illuminated by the natural light of the grand windows, I spied the Interlacements Yarns that are carried here.

And here’s our Spider Web lace weight on display. You’d better hurry, it looks like it’s going fast!

Spin is located at 108 S Madison Avenue in Sturgeon Bay, WI. You should definitely make this a destination when you find yourself in eastern Wisconsin.
